Users and groups

In Aeneis users and groups are also called directory objects. To better manage individual users and their permissions in UserAdministration, create groups. You assign users or other groups as members to the groups.

In the UserAdministration you can see users and groups in a list in the left area. When you select a directory object, you will see the following in the right pane:

• The properties of the directory object

• The groups of which the directory object is a member

• The Effective permissions of the user(s)

• The members of a group
